Push notifications are brief messages used to promote upcoming specials or communicate urgent schedule changes, such as the cancellation of a regularly scheduled class. These notifications initially appear as a status alert, and once dismissed, can be viewed from the Notifications screen.
When you open the app for the first time, we'll give you the option to opt in or out of these notifications:
To enable or disable push notifications later
If you change your mind, and need to enable or disable notifications later, you'll need to access your iPhone's settings menu.
- Tap the Settings icon on your home screen.
- Scroll down and select your app from the list of installed applications. (Our sample app is called E-Learning.)
- Tap Notifications.
- Tap Allow Notifications to enable or disable the settings. Notifications are enabled when the switch is slid to the right and green.
